A Brief History of our Firm

In 1993 Noel Atkins recognised the need to provide a comprehensive range of financial and business services to clients.  Noel has been providing a various range of professional services to clients on the Mid North Coast of NSW and other areas since 1974.

Since 1993 the Company has evolved to service the small business community and individual taxpayers across a wide range of disciplines, effectively allowing us to operate as a “one stop shop” for our clients.

The Partners, Noel Atkins, Guy Middlebrook and Peter Collar, are supported strongly by a professional team to bring a wide range of services to our clients.   In many instances the changes from 1 July 2000 including GST has required firms to provide additional services to clients and become more focussed on their needs.   We have a policy in maintaining our investment in technology and in technical training so as to provide our clients with the most current advice and to service their needs over a wide range of disciplines.

Currently the business is divided into two organisations principally:

· Business and Taxation Services

· Financial Services

Business and taxation services provides a whole range of business consulting, computer services, tax planning and management advice to clients from the individual through to large business clients.   With our current technology we can assist clients with ancillary reporting including GST, land tax, payroll tax and company compliance requirements.

Financial services are provided through Advantage Financial Services company.   This service provides advice and assistance in relation to investments, superannuation, pension investments, personal insurances, stockbroking services, margin lending, financing and leasing.  A team of Noel Atkins, Graeme Gillogly and Peter Tse operate as authorised representatives with Count Wealth Accountants® who is the licensed securities dealer.   Please link to the Website www.youradvantage.com.au for these services.
